Women & Islam:

I spoke with two Muslim Trinidadian women who, although they practise their religion, they also seek to adjust some of what is ‘supposed to be’, choosing instead to be somewhat independent of some statutes. These are only two of thousands of women so these accounts, of course, do not represent the view of the masses.

British town’s senior citizens oppose sister-city plans with Okayama town

Hitler proclaimed the superiority of his Aryan race, Japan, with all do respect believed it was there define duty to subjugate the barbarians. Religious fanatics marter themselves in the name of their god. Each nation imagines itself more superior, better and prouder then the others. So the nations of the world continue to be loggerheads. Strife prevails. Peace is just a dream.

A, History of Dakar

The city of Dakar is made of the 67 communes of Senegal. The commune of Dakar was created by the French colonial administration on June 17, 1887 by detaching it from the commune of Gorée. The commune of Gorée, created in 1872, was itself one of the oldest western-style municipalities in Africa.
