The Center for Disease Control, the National Council on Aging and
the Robert Wood Jonson Foundation all report a recognized
increasing in the population of senior citizens in this country.

With an increase of 12 percent in senior citizens aged 100 and more the need for increased levels of health related services is demanding a greater amount of resources to serve this unique population. Noting the average age in an assisted living facility is 82 years of age, many people will face te need tore-engage themselves into the community they may have left some 15 to 20 years prior. What are these citizens to do as the frontier members of a population that is still capable of contributing and supporting their families specifically and the community at large.
